Human Check (Claude Skill)

Free Claude Skill, MIT licensed. Uses the same scoring code as the Human Check tool on this site.

Scores how AI-generated a draft sounds (0–100), points at the exact phrases, and rewrites it in your own voice.

A deterministic scanner (stock AI vocabulary, “it’s not X, it’s Y” pivots, hook tropes, essay transitions, em-dash density, uniform rhythm, template formatting, stiff phrasing, missing specifics) combined with Claude’s own reading and a rewrite that keeps every fact. The rewrite is re-scanned, because models often add new tells while removing others. It's framed honestly as a style check: it can't tell who wrote a text. Where it comes from: Ported from the Human Check tab in my site's admin, which scores every post before it goes live.

Checking posts, READMEs, cover letters and LinkedIn drafts before publishing.
